This fantastic CD features the five movements from one of the world's greatest pieces of chamber music, Schubert's Quintet in A, Op. 114, so nicknamed because it borrows a theme from his song “Die Forelle” (“The Trout”). The movements – Allegro vivace • Andante • Scherzo • Theme and Variations (Andantino) • Finale (Allegro giusto) – are performed on disc by piano, bass, cello, viola and violin.
